| First I tried softening the plastic by slowly drizzling a kettle of boiling water through the lint filter opening and onto the agitator's hub. Eight fingers under the edge, lifting and wiggling just left me with sore finger joints. Next trick was a bicycle inner tube, wrapped underneath. How fortunate I had just bought a spare after replacing one on the back tire last week. | |
